Allotments

We are starting our new topic in Year 5. For the final half term our topic is 'Allotments'. This is our Geography focus where we will be looking at our local area, map work and completing our locality studies. But to start the topic we wanted something that would capture their imaginations so we started with some D&T.

The children looked at some examples of allotments and then they had to try and create a 3D representation using the materials that were available to them.
