British Museam Virtual Visit

We usually have a trip to the Birmingham Museum and this was not able to go ahead so we had the next best thing...Year 5 were lucky enough to have a virtual visit to the British Museum, this is the one in London.

Looking at Ancient Egypt we looked at the various aspects within our topic including actefacts that have been discovered and where they would feature on the Ancient Egyptian time line, what would be required within the tombs for the afterlife and also what other major civilisations that the Ancient Egyptians had interacted with... Along side this was a kahoot quiz that pitched both classes against each other.

It was impossible to seperate the teams as both scored full marks within the quiz.

Both classes enjoyed the experience and the information given to them will only help deepen their knowledge of their topic.
